Sun of the Ninth is an AI-native original series — created and directed by me, produced with AI end-to-end. Not a tech demo. Not a proof of concept. A series, built to be watched.
It exists to test one thesis: AI production is a new camera department. The tools changed. The job didn't. The director still owns story, taste, and edit — the machine holds the camera, and someone still has to decide where it points.
Every frame was directed. World, characters, look, and tone were authored first — then AI production carried them to screen. The generation pipeline was treated the way a director treats a crew: given precise direction, pushed for another take, cut without mercy when the shot didn't serve the story.
Role: creator, director, AI production. The taste decisions — what stays, what goes, what the audience feels — never left the director's chair.
The trailer crossed 4.9M views. An audience that size doesn't show up for a pipeline — it shows up for a story. That was the entire point.
